  • Lethal Enforcers - by Antster

    Introduction:

This game is one of the most original games on the Super Nintendo, and the most expensive one not made by Nintendo. This was due to the fact that the box for this game was big. In that box was the cart, and... what's this? It's a gun! And no thing to sight with like that horrible Super Scope, just point the trigger at the screen and fire away!

Here, you're a cop, and you have to go around the streets shooting all sorts of bad guys. There is a training thing where you try out your shots and go through the ranks (recommended for the novice player).

    Graphics [6.3/10]:

The graphics are quite good, but really scaled down in quality from the arcade version. The backgrounds look flat and lifeless and the sprites move slowly.

    Music and Sound [6.9/10]:

There are speech effects in this game, but they are a bit muffled, as are the sound effects. The music seems to have gone down in audio quality in the conversion as well.

    Game Play [7.3/10]:

This is why punters payed £70 for this game, then shell out the extra £20 for a second gun. The controls are simple enough - point the gun at the desired spot on the screen and pull the trigger. To reload, point the gun away from the screen and pull the trigger. Very easy to get into.

    Challenge and Replay [7/10]:

Despite the good playability and the brilliant challenge the game offers, the game costs too much, and the replay value is limited.

    Conclusion/Overall [6.5/10]:

Quite a good game if you're willing to shell out £70, which means go for it, but only if you're a die-hard player.
